The God does it again. I must say cricket is certainly a religion in India. We have seen India loose sheepishly so many times but as soon there is a win, we revive in joy and forget all the losses. India cricket in the past has pretty much emulated the stock behavior on the exchange, yet we stand by our time. Cricket is the only sport that the nation preaches and follows steadfastly. We need a back up. We need to diversify basket of sports played in India. Tennis and Hockey happen with sub prime interest. I mean, schools should cultivate different sports, more sports and equipments should be made available for the local citizens and at the government schools. India has caught up with the technology wave and has to quickly gravitate itself into other areas in sports as well.
I from today decide to follow, play and preach a back up sport. I don't want to be so much banked on the Indian cricket team for every time to rejoice. I hope each one of us realizes it.
